It wasn't over till the fat lady sang................. also it was raining.

As a few of you may or may not know, today was the celebration of Buddha's birth.
And by one way or another I ended up celebrating this day at the Truc Lam Vietnamese temple on the Northside of Chicago.

Man, I've had a temple filled couple of days, some would even go as far as to say it's been............... templetastic, ok I guess very few people would say that.

Now the stage was set for what I'm sure was the best celebration of Buddha in the history of Buddha.
Also, sorry for the weird camera work, the lighting (while being very lovely) was pretty much horrible for photo taking.

Man with those hands you could eat like.......... four things at once.

Say what you will about those Buddhists but they sure know how to have a good time........... hat waving.

In case you wanted to know, yes that is a huge stage with a Buddha on it.

1. In all of your print I can hear your voice.
2. I see a tom turkey in full display when I look at the 1st and 3rd pictures of "It wasn't over..." Is it the foundation of thankfulness that is coming through, or is it the cranberries?
3. I really like the picture of Steve. It captures (for me) the sweetness in Steve's Steveness.

Very nice work, HQ. Thanks for sharing it.
