This is a snake skin from a little nature center I used to work at.

This came from a snake whose name I can not remember, well it's real name anyways.

Even if the name of the snake is unknown I remember what we used to call her, Ripper.

Ripper was a corn snake.

Most corn snakes are, on the whole, calm and friendly as you can except a snake to be.

This is why snakes like Ripper are so often taken in by nature centers.

And while I say most corn snakes are friendly there are always those that sway from this norm.

Ripper was one of those snakes.

We fed the snakes frozen mice. And corn snakes almost always eat them whole, without any kind of chewing, Ripper however would tear them to pieces, and if that did not stop her blood lust she would turn her angry on the next living thing to enter her tank.

She would launch herself at that creature and attack with her fangs, this was even more likely to happen if the living thing was a human hand.

This is why we called her Ripper.
